The The “Meta Fixer“ will always focus on conversations and issues surrounding the current state of affairs on the Medium.com website, specifically with regard to what is being classified as meta content.
I’m not joking about a storm brewing regarding the whole “meta” issue and their failure to continue compensating writers for previously published content.
Based on personal observations and keeping my ear to the ground, I can see as clear as day, this is not a problem that is about to go away anytime real soon.
The ongoing situation which has adversely affected countless Medium writers, is continuing to present a problem, especially for former niche writers with numerous published stories about Medium.
Thanks to the difficult position I found myself and other writers like me to be in, I launched a brand new Medium publication called The “Meta“ Fix.
This is my solution to how to start addressing the stories most affected by the recent events. But the publication is in no way a quick “fix”.
Among other things, the “meta” related issues on Medium has created an atmosphere where the writers who are most affected, don’t even have a safe space to discuss their actions, options, or alternatives.
That was my motivation and inspiration for creating The “Meta“ Fixer.
